BRICK-TILE TRAINING FOR METU ARCHITECTURE DEPARTMENT STUDENTS

The theoretical and practical trainings on brick and tile, organized jointly by TUKDER (METU) and Middle East Technical University during the summer internship, were held on 17-20 June and 24-27 June 2019 at METU Faculty of Architecture. METU Faculty of Architecture Department of Architecture students and lecturers participated in the training. These trainings were given to approximately 100 students, two different weeks each week, for two weeks each week.

In the theoretical part of the trainings, it was stated that according to the properties, application, errors and fire regulations of this tile, this material will never burn without being tested and it can be used as a safe covering material on roofs as class A1 material.
